We're looking for a Community & Membership Coordinator!

LATEKA is the newly created Latvian E-commerce Association. It was co-founded by Magebit alongside a group of like-minded industry leaders who recognized the need for a unified voice in the digital commerce space.

Our mission is to unite the digital ecosystem - from e-commerce brands and technology providers to banks and logistics giants - to build a stronger, more visible community in Latvia.

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and communicative Community & Membership Coordinator to be the heartbeat of the association. This is a hands-on role where you will be the primary point of contact for our members, ensuring that LATEKA isn't just a list of names, but an active, value-driven community.

We will entrust you with:

• Proactively growing LATEKA’s base by identifying and reaching out to potential members to explain the value of our association

• Managing the full onboarding process to ensure new members are welcomed, registered, and aware of their benefits

• Driving the LATEKA blog by coordinating member contributions and insights to ensure a consistent flow of content

• Taking ownership of regular newsletters and community updates to keep the industry informed and engaged

• Maintaining an active presence on social media to highlight member achievements and upcoming association plans

• Supporting quarterly meetups and co-marketing activities by sourcing speakers and coordinating joint projects with partners

• Strengthening the association’s foundation by documenting internal processes and workflows to help the organization scale

You are a perfect candidate if you:

• Enjoy networking and feel comfortable reaching out to new people via LinkedIn, email, or phone

• Possess strong follow-up discipline and the organizational skills needed to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders independently

• Communicate professionally and clearly in both Latvian and English

• Have a proactive mindset and the ability to identify where a process needs improvement and take ownership of the solution

• Feel comfortable using (or quickly learning) digital tools, social media platforms, and newsletter software

Not a must but nice to have:

• Previous experience in community management, sales, or event coordination

• Familiarity with CRM tools, or email marketing platforms

• Experienced in applying AI tools to improve efficiency and optimize everyday operations

• An interest in the Latvian startup and digital business ecosystem
